Each resident's daily rhythm is shaped around their preferences and care needs rather than a fixed institutional schedule. Mealtimes, social activities, rest periods, and personal time are coordinated together with the resident and, where appropriate, with family. We aim for days that feel genuinely ordinary — comfortable, calm, and familiar.

Yes. Visiting arrangements are flexible, and family members in the palliative care program are welcome to stay overnight when needed. We see family involvement as a meaningful part of a resident's wellbeing, not a logistical matter to be managed.

We work closely with each resident's existing medical team and can coordinate with external practitioners as needs change. Regular care reviews ensure that any shifts in condition are addressed promptly and that families are kept informed throughout. Our approach adapts with the person — we do not apply a fixed care model.

No. The consultation service is available to any family thinking through the broader question of residential care, regardless of where they ultimately decide to place their loved one. Our goal in those sessions is to support good decision-making, not to steer families toward any particular outcome.

Individual care plans within the Couples Program are reviewed separately and updated as needed. If one partner's condition requires a different level of care, we adapt accordingly while doing our best to maintain their shared living arrangement. Continuity of the relationship remains a priority throughout.
