How We Approach Every Program

Before any program begins, we take time to understand the person — their history, their routines, their preferences, and the relationships that matter to them. That understanding shapes everything from room arrangement to daily schedule to the way communication with family is structured.

We don't apply a fixed model and ask people to fit into it. Programs are built from what we learn, then adapted as the person changes.

Palliative Comfort Care

A compassionate residential program focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life for individuals with advanced or long-term conditions. The care team works closely with residents and their families to develop a personalised comfort plan addressing pain management, emotional wellbeing, and spiritual support.

Private rooms are available with flexible visiting arrangements, and family members are welcome to stay overnight. Regular care conferences ensure the resident's wishes remain central to all decisions.

Couples Residential Program

A residential arrangement designed for partners who wish to remain together while receiving different levels of care support. The program accommodates shared living quarters with individualised care plans for each person, recognising that needs may differ while the desire to stay connected remains strong.

Daily routines, social activities, and meal schedules are coordinated to allow both shared and independent time. Care staff are trained to support couples navigating the emotional dimensions of aging together.

Family Transition Consultation

A guided consultation process — typically three to five sessions — designed to help families navigate the decision-making process when considering residential care for a loved one. Sessions cover practical topics such as care level assessment, financial planning, legal considerations, and emotional preparation.

A dedicated advisor facilitates conversations among family members, helping to surface concerns, align expectations, and develop a thoughtful transition plan. This service is offered with sensitivity, recognising that the decision to explore residential care is deeply personal and often complex.

All resident and family information is held with strict confidentiality. Access is limited to authorised staff and designated family contacts only.

Regulatory Compliance

Kinaree operates in compliance with Thai Ministry of Public Health guidelines for residential care facilities and undergoes periodic external review.

Complaint and Feedback Process

A clear process exists for raising concerns or providing feedback. All concerns are documented, responded to in a timely way, and used to improve care.

Safeguarding

All staff receive safeguarding training. The home has a designated safeguarding lead and clear protocols for any situation that requires escalation.

Resident Autonomy

Residents retain decision-making authority over their daily lives wherever possible. We support, rather than replace, personal choice.

Language Accessibility

All programs are accessible to Thai and English-speaking residents and families. We do not apply language requirements that would exclude those we serve.
